Prince George and Princess Charlotte to star in Royal Wedding
Prince George and Princess Charlotte will have starring roles in the second royal wedding of the year, taking place at Windsor Castle later this week.
Buckingham Palace announced overnight the young royals will serve as page boy and bridesmaid for Princess Eugenie and her fiancé Jack Brooksbank.
The couple is getting married this Friday, just a few months after Eugenie’s cousin Prince Harry tied the knot with Meghan Markle.
Joining Princess Charlotte as bridesmaid will be singer Robbie Williams’ six-year-old daughter Theodora, Mia Tindall, Zara and Mike Tindall’s four-year-old daughter, Savannah and Isla Philips and Maud Windsor.
Prince George will be page boy with six-year-old Louis de Givenchy, who is the son of JP Morgan banking executive Olivier de Givenchy and his wife Zoe.
The couple has also asked Princess Beatrice, Eugenie’s older sister, to be her Maid of Honour, while Thomas Brooksbank, Jack’s brother, will be best man.
The Queen’s youngest grandchildren, 14-year-old Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor and 10-year-old Viscount Severn will be Special attendants.
Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, had the same number of bridesmaids, while Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge only had four.
