A pregnant mother has been stabbed to death and her husband injured while on holiday at an African nature reserve.
Karen Turner and her husband Matthew were staying at a resort in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa as they travelled to a wedding when they were attacked at night, The Witness reported.
Karen, who had just celebrated her birthday, was found stabbed multiple times in the couples' cabin.
Matthew reportedly suffered several stab wounds to the torso and was rushed to hospital.
The couple's two-year-old son was unhurt.

News24 reported Karen's brother Ian Crouch said Matthew had told him two men had broken into their cottage and that he woke to being stabbed in the stomach before grappling with one of the attackers.
Police have launched a murder investigation.
"There was no sign of forced entry and everything inside the house was upside down," Captain Koena said.
"It was an absolute bloodbath. You can see it started upstairs in the bedroom."
'It was not like a robbery because no valuables were taken."
