'Chill Greta!': Thunberg hits Trump back over Twitter mock
US President Donald Trump has appeared to mock Swedish teenager Greta Thunberg after she was named Time's 2019 Person of the Year, only for her to then hit back with her own tongue-in-cheek jibe.
The 16-year-old climate activist was yesterday announced as the youngest ever recipient of the magazine's prestigious honour.
She rose to global prominence last year by taking time off school to demonstrate outside Swedish parliament about the lack of action to combat climate change, and then famously shamed world leaders at a UN summit for their inaction.
Trump today hit out at the honour awarded to Thunberg, describing it as "so ridiculous" in a post to Twitter.
"Greta must work on her anger management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend," Trump, the 2016 recipient of the same honour, said.
"Chill Greta, chill!"
Hours after the President tweeted that message, however, Thunberg changed her own Twitter bio in a tongue-in-cheek jibe at Trump.

The comments are not the first time Trump has mocked the teenager.
The President has previously questioned the climate science Thunberg consistently refers to in speeches to world leaders and has challenged every major US regulation aimed at combating climate change.
Retweeting footage of her UN speech earlier this year, Trump mocked Thunberg by saying: "She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!"
After that address, he was also filmed walking pass Thunberg while ignoring her in a stilted moment of hallway tension at the summit.
