TRANSPORT to footy grounds has gotten easier for Swan Districts’ junior players.
Club sponsor Pilbara Motor Group provided a 21-seat community bus to the club. The bus will be used for transporting juniors to and from after school programs including the Make Your Mark program for Indigenous children and the Swans Inclusion program for Durham Road School and Cyril Jackson Senior Campus students.
It will also be used for the club’s annual V Swans Strength to Succeed Leadership and Cultural Tour, which will run through remote Aboriginal community Jigalong, Karijini and Tom Price.
Community general manager Kara Donnellan thanked the sponsor for helping grow the club’s capacity to deliver community programs in the Perth metropolitan and Pilbara regions.
