Resilience a positive as Eagles challenge looms
THE player group at West Perth is clearly a very resilient group.
To not play well in the first quarter (against Perth last Saturday) and be down at half-time but turn the game around in that second half was really pleasing.
It showed a great deal of resilience, which is a positive trait, and showed when we move the ball well, we’re going to score.
It is the second time in three weeks that we have scored 100 points.
We come up against West Coast on Sunday, which will be very exciting.
The Eagles are opening up their new facilities (at Mineral Resources Park) for the day.
They’re expecting a really healthy crowd to be flowing through. The weather looks like it will be nice.
It’s free entry.
All their stars will be there such as (Nic) Naitanui and (Josh) Kennedy at different stages.
So it will be a very exciting day to be part of.
The big discussion for us this week will be around what we do with the rucks with the number of tall players West Coast have. So we’ll be trying to get that balance right.
