Man charged over Ballajura petrol station robbery
A MAN will face court today over an alleged crime spree that spanned four months.
The 34-year-old man of no fixed address faces numerous charges, including for an armed robbery at a Ballajura service station.
Police say that about 10:35pm on Thursday the man entered the Illawarra Crescent petrol station and assaulted a staff member with a crowbar before stealing cash from the till and fleeing.
The man has also been charged over a number of other offences that occurred during July to October in the metropolitan area.
This includes two counts of aggravated burglary and numerous stealing and driving offences.
He is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Monday.
