Brawl involving 60 to 70 people at recreation centre

THERE was a brawl involving about 60 to 70 people at Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre last night.

Police were called to a disturbance at the basketball courts on Pinjarra Road at 6.40pm.

On arrival police found about 60 to 70 people fighting.  It is believe the incident stemmed from ongoing issues between two families.

Another disturbance, involving about 15 people linked to previous groups, occurred outside a residence on Duncan Street in Coodanup at 9.30pm.

There were no reports of injuries.  No arrests have been made at this time and the police investigation into these two incidents is ongoing.
