Woman who crashed Porsche accused of high-range drink-driving
A woman from Sydney's exclusive eastern suburbs recorded an alleged blood alcohol reading of 0.341 after she crashed a Porsche SUV into bollards and a ticket machine.
Police were called to the car park of a shopping centre on Kiaora Road, Double Bay, at about 5.50pm yesterday after reports a Porsche Cayenne had been in an accident.
Nearby bystanders helped remove her from the vehicle before officers arrived.
The woman was subject to a roadside breath test which returned a positive result, before she was arrested and taken to Waverley Police Station.
A subsequent breath analysis returned a reading of 0.341.
The 44-year-old Bellevue Hill woman was charged with high-range PCA (first offence), and granted conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court next month.
