Woman arrested over caravan park death
A woman has been arrested following the death of a man at a caravan park in regional Victoria.
Emergency services were called to the site at Port Fairy in the state's south west following reports of an injured man about 2.30am today.
Despite attempts by paramedics to revive him, he was declared dead at the scene.
The woman is helping police with inquiries.
Officers believe she and the deceased knew each other.
The man was the second body found in the state overnight after a 64-year-old Airport West woman was found dead at an Avondale Heights park about 5.45pm yesterday.
Her body was found in parkland near the Maribyrnong River and close to a Doutta Galla aged-care home car park.
"The cause of the woman's death is yet to be determined and an investigation is currently underway," a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.
