Tributes flow for Adelaide mother of seven killed riding bicycle
Tributes have poured in for a mother of seven killed while riding her bicycle in Adelaide on Saturday evening.
Carolyn Riggs was just a few hundred metres from her Smithfield Plains home when she was struck by a car at 8.45pm.
Devastated well-wishers have lain flowers for Ms Riggs where she was hit, near the home of her friends the McDonald's on Curtis Road in Munno Para.
Emotional witnesses told 9NEWS they desperately tried to save the 32-year-old after she collided with the car, dozens rushing onto the road as one bystander attempted to perform CPR.
"We just sort of sat there with her and said 'Don't move, wait for the ambulance, it will be okay'," Hayley Easthope told 9NEWS.
"I'm very sorry for her children."
Ms Riggs was rushed to Royal Adelaide Hospital but later died from her injuries.
Her death brings South Australia's road toll to 90 so far this year.
