Teenage girl missing from Schofields

Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a teenage girl who has been missing from Sydney’s West for almost a week.

Ying Jing, also known as Betty, was last seen leaving her family home on Beacon Street in Schofields at 10am on Friday, November 2nd.

The 17-year-old was spotted four days later leaving a convenience store in Burwood at 7.45am in the company of a man.

The man was described as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance with a muscular build, black hair and a tattoo on his left forearm.

Betty is of Asian appearance, and is 165 cm tall with a slim build, brown eyes and long black hair.

Officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command have launched an investigation into Betty’s whereabouts.

Police are urging anybody who sees Betty to contact Crime Stoppers immediately.
