Teenage driver charged over Perth fatal crash that killed elderly woman
THE driver of a car that crashed into another vehicle and led to the death of an elderly woman has been charged after a two-month investigation.
The crash occurred on Wednesday June 13 at about 11.35am.
A car being driven north on Selby Street in Floreat by an 18-year-old woman collided with another car going east on Cambridge Street.
A 91-year-old woman suffered critical injuries in the crash and she was taken to Royal Perth Hospital where she later died.
The 18-year -old woman from Swanbourne has now been charged with dangerous driving causing death.
She is due to appear before Perth Magistrates Court on Friday August 17.
