Teenage boy in hospital after being stabbed in Melton
A TEENAGER was stabbed in Melton yesterday, setting off a manhunt for his attackers.
Police said the boy was walking along a footpath near High St about 6pm when he was set upon by two people he did not know.
The pair stabbed the boy before being scared off by a group of his friends.
The boy was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The offenders fled the scene on foot.
