Storm set to bring hail, heavy rain to Perth
WILD weather is on its way, with a severe thunderstorm set to bring hailstones and heavy rain to Perth.
The Bureau of Meteorology Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning, with flash flooding and damaging winds likely.
BoM’s radar shows the thunderstorms are forecast to affect Joondalup, Ballajura, Bulls Brook, Ellenbrook, Wangara and Midland by 4:40pm.
They are expected to hit Perth City, Armadale, Stirling, Gidgegannup, Gosnells, Kalamunda, Mundaring and Roleystone by 5:10pm.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) says the weather is not unusual for this time of year, but severe weather may occur in some parts of the warning area.
DFES will continue to monitor the situation.
