Hundreds of people danced and protested through the streets of Sydney on November 23 as part of a Pill testing saves lives rally.

Four DJ stations on wheels got things going as people spoke out against police strip searches, intimidation tactics and use of sniffer dogs. They condemned the state Coalition government's failed "war on drugs".

The state government and police have ruled out implementing recommendations made by a coronial inquest into drug-related deaths at music festivals. The inquest recommended introducing pill testing at festivals and an end to sniffer dogs and strip searches.

The rally was organised by Reclaim the Streets, Keep Sydney Open, Students for Sensible Drug Policy and Unharm.
