Perth Children's Hospital: Tall truck hits glass panel in crash accident
THERE has been yet another hiccup at the new Perth Children’s Hospital - a truck has crashed into a glass panel.
The accident occurred on Wednesday morning after 7am, when a truck became wedged under the roof near the emergency department entrance.
The truck, believed to be a refrigerated milk truck making a delivery to the hospital that officially opened at the weekend, has now been removed.
It left damage to a glass panel and several sections of the ceiling.
The ED is not yet operational.
