Massive penalty for driver busted going more than 50km/h over the limit
A driver has been issued a whopping $2482 fine after being caught driving more than 50km/h over the speed limit.
New South Wales Police pulled the South Australian man over on the Newell Highway in Parkes in the state's central west on Friday afternoon.
The 26-year-old had been clocked driving 111km/h in a 60km/h zone.
He was issued with an infringement notice for exceeding the speed limit by over 45km/h.
The driver was handed a $2482 fine, six demerit points, and has his licence suspended for six months.
