Manhunt for hit and run motorbike rider who left five-year-old with head injuries
A manhunt is underway to find a motorbike rider who left a five-year-old boy with head injuries following a shocking hit-run near Brisbane.
The boy and his mother were crossing Juers Street near Attunga Street in Kingston around 4.30 yesterday afternoon when the motorbike swerved around a car stopped at a red light.
The driver then collided with the boy before fleeing the scene.
He suffered a minor head injury and fractures to his leg and ankle, spending the night recovering at the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
The motorbike is described as possibly red in colour.
