Man stabbed in neck at hair salon dies in hospital
A man stabbed in the neck in a brazen attack inside a Sydney hair salon has died in hospital.
Witnesses said the attacker arrived on a motorbike and stormed the business at Bossley Park, not even removing his helmet for the attack.
They described how he circled the block several times around midday, before entering the store on Mimosa Road.
There was panic in the shop, as the wounded man stumbled out onto the street with a wound to the neck.
“When he walked out he was okay, but within 30 seconds he was gasping for breath,” a witness told 9News.
The 20-year-old was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and in cardiac arrest.
He underwent emergency surgery, but has died in hospital.
Police this afternoon arrested a man at his mother's house just a few streets away from the hair salon.
He is being questioned at Fairfield police station.
