Man in ICU after savage beating by Perth students at Stirling Train Station
A man is fighting for his life in hospital after he was attacked by school children at Stirling Train Station this afternoon.
About 1.45pm, a group of about six students have assaulted a man causing serious injuries.
The victim, a man believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious head injuries.
He is now in the Intensive Care Unit in a critical condition.
It is believed the group of students were all wearing school uniform at the time of the incident.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone that may have seen the incident or the group of students in the area around the time of the incident.
Detectives believe there was some type of incident on a bus travelling to the station, prior to the assault.
They believe this incident may be linked to the assault at the train station.
The bus route is number 998, travelling from Nedlands to Stirling Station.
