Man in hospital with gunshot wounds after shots fired in South Perth
An incident in South Perth early this morning has left a man recovering in hospital with gunshot wounds to his leg.
Police were called to Royal Perth Hospital about 6.00am this morning to investigate the incident that left a 39-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries to his leg.
As part of their investigation officers attended Parker Street in South Perth, where it is believed the victim was shot.
The victim was taken to Royal Perth Hospital in a silver Hyundai Accent, which has since been located and examined by police.
While more details are yet to be revealed, police said the incident is not believed to be random and would like to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the Parker Street area between 3.00am and 5.00am this morning, or who has CCTV or dash camera vision.
