Man crushed by pallet in Sydney warehouse incident
A man has been struck by a falling pallet at a Seven Hills warehouse in Sydney's North West.
The 26-year-old was unloading a shipping container around 9am this morning when the pallet struck him, causing suspected spinal injuries.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man on-scene as a Careflight helicopter with a specialist medical team aboard were dispatched to the job.
The chopper landed at nearby McCoy Park and provided treatment to the man in the hands of paramedics.
He was transported via road to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
NSW Police were present at the scene and a SafeWork Australia investigation is likely to begin later today.
