Fans express concern for Yellow Wiggle member Greg Page

Yellow Wiggle member Greg Page remains in hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest on stage in Sydney last night.

The 48-year-old was performing for a bushfire relief concert when he collapsed dramatically as he exited the stage.

Paramedics and other performed CPR for 26 minutes before he was rushed to Westmead Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Page had a “procedure” and is now recovering with The Wiggles tweeting a picture of him giving the thumbs up from his hospital bed.

“We’ve visited Greg this morning & he wanted to thank everyone for their well wishes. He’s so grateful for the messages of love & support from around the world. Greg’s main concern was that the show tonight should go on. Let’s do it for Greg whilst raising much needed funds.”

The news comes with relief after a solemn post last night confirmed Page had suffered a cardiac arrest.

Last night Blue Wiggle Anthony Field shared his worry with a post, alongside a smiling picture of four of the original Wiggles — Greg Page, Anthony Field, Murray Cook and Jeff Fatt.

Devoted fans from across the world have followed suit in response to the concerning news, expressing their heartbreak and wishes for the entertainer’s speedy recovery.

Page left The Wiggles in 2006, citing health issues resulting from orthostatic intolerance.

He returned for a brief spell in 2012 before agreeing to reprise his role as the Yellow Wiggle to help with fire relief fundraising.

Paramedics treated Page at the scene before he was rushed to hospital.
