Bomb squad alerted after suspect device found
Bomb disposal experts were called to a property in eastern Victoria last night after a suspicious device was found.
Police were searching the property at Moe, a town in Gippsland, over a separate matter when officers discovered the device.
The Bomb Response Unit was called to the Service Road South property and disposed of the device.
No evacuations were required.
Victoria Police said no arrests have currently been made.
Last month two bomb scares just hours apart forced the closure of parts of Melbourne CBD.
