Perth fashion influencer Melissa "Lissy" Graham creates 'bored housewife' photoshoot at home
At first glance, you could mistake these pictures for an ultra-high fashion photo shoot for Vogue.
However, these are just the isolation diaries of Perth fashion influencer and socialite Melissa “Lissy” Graham, who has taken the bored housewife notion to the next level.
Usually spending her weeks flitting to events and flaunting her luxury designer wardrobe, the wife of Keystart Home Loans chief executive Paul Graham isn’t letting the hibernation life get her down.
She has been posting a series of hilarious snaps carrying out every day tasks dolled up in designer threads, wanting to bring some “light and laughter” to all of the fellow school mums and women in her life.
Husband Paul has been tasked with the ultimate husbands of Instagram gig.
“I call Paul the five minute photographer, he still doesn’t understand why you need to take 667 shots when you’re really only going to post one,” Graham told AAA.
“That said, he’s always been my number one fan and I think it was my sense of humour that first attracted him to me. And if I’m going to provide breakfast, lunch, dinner and beer and nuts at 5pm he can take a few photos!”
Melissa originally had 16,000 followers last year, but after two hackings she has had to build her up her following again, and so far her fans love the relatable content, with one photo depicting her relaxing on the bed decked out in Rachel Gilbert whilst her kids are cleaning, serving her wine and giving her a manicure.
“The kids are all home under one roof and they are used to me running around the house in YSL pumps and curlers in my hair to get the shot,” she said.
“They do need some coaxing I won’t lie but a trip to Macca’s when Mum’s paying even at their age does the trick.”
