LA Instagram model Holly Valentine kicked off Tinder 'for being so hot guys thought she was catfishing'
A model claims she’s been kicked off Tinder for being too hot.
LA-based Holly Valentine says she signed up to the popular dating app so she could meet potential dates while travelling for work.
But the 26-year-old, who has 1.2 million on Instagram, claims she was kicked off just hours after spending more than $100 on a premium membership because men thought she was a catfish and reported her account.
“I travel a lot so I wanted to date and meet new people when I was travelling and in town, so I bought the most expensive package that they offer that lets you set your location to anywhere,” she said.
“I used clean pictures, did everything I was supposed to, swiped right on a couple people, I got some matches and then started binge watching Game of Thrones.
“Then after a couple hours I went back on, saw a couple previews of messages and then got locked out of the app.”
She said she contacted both Tinder and Apple asking for a refund, but has so far had no luck.
Despite sharing racy photos online, Valentine said “models can be shy too” and she’d always been the “girl next door”.
“I’m all natural, very fit, blonde, girl next door looking,” she said.
“I do have a nerdy side and I’m not afraid to show it but depending on the wardrobe or make up I can go from looking like an all natural college girl or a bombshell.
“I’m extremely real and people know that the first second. When people meet me in real life the first thing they say is, ‘You’re exactly the same in real life’.
“A lot of people are going for the girl next door vibe but that’s just who I am.”
