Crazy bull Miguel Maestre returns to Perth for Good Food Wine Show
FOODIES are in for a treat when the Good Food and Wine Show (GFWS) return to Perth in August for a 12th year.
The popular show at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre comes packed with live cooking demonstrations, chef dining experiences and interactive master classes, along with a line up of local and national talent.
The event will feature hundreds of first-time local exhibitors who will see patrons enjoy all things food and wine as they engage with Australia’s favourite celebrity chefs sharing tips and tricks live on stage.
Set to return this year is the much-loved ‘crazy bull’ Miguel Maestre who will again be hitting the stage to immerse audiences in his passionate, entertaining and amusing frenzy of Spanish cooking.
He will be joined by restaurateur, author and award-winning chef Matt Moran who will bring his modern approach using local ingredients.
Maestre said he was looking forward to returning to Perth.
“You know, the Perth show, it is just like nothing else,” he said.
Joining Maestre and Moran will be ‘grumpy chef’ and ‘happy butcher’, Colin Fassnidge and Anthony Puharich, who will dazzle with their top-to-tail approach to cooking.
Show-goers keen to sample a little luxury can try WA wines in the VIP Lounge presented by Margaret River Wine.
Tickets starting at $20 are now on sale.
