The Block contestant granted bail
Former The Block contestant Suzie Taylor has been granted bail over accusations she kicked and punched a man to steal money after she met him on a dating app.
The ex-Penthouse covergirl model has been in custody since her arrest in October on extortion, deprivation of liberty and assault charges.
The real estate agent allegedly attacked the 33-year-old man before forcing him to hand over money at a New Farm home after meeting him on Tinder.
During a bail application hearing in the Supreme Court in Brisbane, Ms Taylor's lawyer said they would argue their client "wasn't on Tinder" and that the accuser used a different name on his own Tinder profile, The Brisbane Times reports.
Michael Bonasia from Legal Aid Queensland said Ms Taylor's defence would also focus on the Tinder allegations with her team questioning the accuser's credibility.
Justice Debra Mullins granted Ms Taylor bail under "very strict conditions".
