Groovin The Moo line-up announced ahead of Bunbury festival
Tones and I will join an array of throwbacks in this year’s Grooving The Moo festival, it has been revealed.
In announcing the line-up for the festival this morning, organisers revealed “Dance Monkey” megastars Tones and I, pop twins The Veronicas and Gang of Youths would be among the huge acts to take to the stage in April.
English rockers Supergrass, best known for their 1995 hit Alright, will be among the throwback acts of the festival, as well as Finland import Darude, which provided the soundtrack for nightclubs in 1999 with Sandstorm.
Milkshake singer Kelis and Rappers Delight hip hoppers Sugarhill Gang will be among the veteran American acts joining the line-up.
The Cat Empire, Bhad Bhabie, Ruby Fields and AJ Tracey are also making an appearance at the festival, which will be hosted by Jawbreakers and Mai.
And organisers have indicated more names could join them.
“There’ll be plenty more to come,” they teased this morning.
The festival, which opens in Adelaide, will arrive at Bunbury’s Hay Park on April 26 on the third leg of the six-date tour.
