Big Brother 2020: Angela Clancy forced to hide from Perth fans at Garden City and Carousel shops after eviction

She is the “nobody” from Byford who found overnight fame thanks to her loud-mouthed appearance on Big Brother.

And now Angela Clancy cannot even leave the house without being recognised.

“I went to Garden City shopping and the moment I stepped in, people wanted a selfie,” she told AAA.

“I couldn’t do it. I was with my husband and kids and he became the camera man. I tried to hide, I went to the lingerie section.

“I thought, ‘This is getting too much’.

“I needed to breathe but a family actually followed me into the lingerie section for a family selfie.

“I was like, ‘Maybe this is not the right location?’”

“Angelicious” then tried to go quietly shopping at Carousel but was met with yells and cries of “Angela”.

“At first it used to shock me,” she said.

“Now I’m realising they don’t actually know me, they know me from the TV Angela.”
