Business booming for real estate agents Vivien Yap and Emma Milner in Perth's western suburbs

Top Perth real estate agents, director Vivien Yap and sales executive Emma Milner, don’t look out of place among a multimillion-dollar listing.

The pair are responsible for selling some of Perth’s most high-end properties and luxurious properties and “love to present as our homes do”.

Yap and Milner have been working together for more than three years at Ray White Claremont-Dalkeith and despite the pandemic and economic downturn, have no plans to slow down.

“Our agency just did not stop.” Milner told Confidential.

“We’re still selling, we’re listing, we have huge home open numbers and that hasn’t slowed down, even during COVID times.”

While they said there were less properties on the market, sales of high-end homes have not been significantly impacted because buyers are still out there.

Now more than ever they were ready to invest in the right property to suit their lifestyle whether that is spending more time in the kitchen, time as a family or in need of a bigger space for entertaining.

“I think we found that we connected a lot better with buyers and also potential sellers,” Yap said.

“Family’s lifestyles have changed since COVID.”

“I think we were also able to understand their needs a lot more effectively and really drill down to what is important to them."

With it’s enviable location nestled between the beach and the river, the western suburbs remain a place where people “aspire” to live and with the low interest rates, the housing market has become more affordable.

“We’ve got a really diverse range of listings,” Milner said.

“If they’ve been looking for a lifestyle property,….it’s just such a great time.”
